It was amazing how the atmosphere of the Convo back home manifest itself here at the Dunk. The between the 110, cheerleaders, and O-Zone, it felt like home. Before the game, Adetunji Adedipe pumped up the Bobcats. CBS was out in full force, and it was pretty clear as a photographer that they pretty much ran the tournament. Armon Bassett led the 'Cats with 32 points at 9 for 17. D.J. Cooper put up 23 points, 8 assists and 3 steals. Kenneth Van Kempen finished the game with 9 points and had a great game defensively. Tommy Freeman scored 11 points and drew several fouls posted up. DeVaughn Washington posted a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. About halfway through the first half, Ohio led by 12 points, and you could feel a sense of disbelief growing in the arena. In the past few games, the Bobcats have become an unstoppable unit, and the credit has to go to head coach John Groce. As the final minutes ran down it became clear that Ohio was going to upset Georgetown, and it seemed as though every fan, player, and coach in the Dunk was in shock. With their win, the Bobcats move on to face the Tennessee Volunteers this Saturday for the 2nd round. Let's keep dancing!
